Carol Batrus

President

Carol has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition as well as an MBA from Columbia University. In 1999 she relocated to a primitive Zulu village. During her 2½ year stay, she trained Zulu women in entrepreneurial skills, established a micro-lending program, developed community gardens and acted as a role model to help the women gain their rightful and necessary place in the community. She returned to Boulder and continues with her commitment to help all women receive the respect and equitable treatment that is their birth right.
